GCC acts as an extender pigment in paints, improving opacity, consistency and reducing cost. Fine grades (VG-500 to VG-1250) provide smooth finish in emulsion and enamel paints.
Used as coating pigment and filler in paper, GCC improves brightness, opacity and printability. Fine GCC grades replace expensive TiO₂ in paper coating.
Coarse GCC grades are widely used in putty, tile adhesives, cement boards and waterproofing compounds to improve workability and reduce shrinkage.
GCC improves rheology, thixotropy and reduces cost in adhesives and sealants while maintaining bond strength. Grades VG-325 to VG-800 are most suitable.
Used as flux material in ceramic tile bodies and glazes. GCC improves dimensional stability and reduces firing temperature, saving energy costs.
Coarse GCC grades are used for soil pH correction and as calcium supplement in fertilizers. Improves crop yield and soil structure.

VELORA COAT® allows polymers to heat and cool faster, improving productivity. Higher filler loading reduces raw material cost while maintaining mechanical strength. Grades: VC-20T to VC-50T.
CaCO₃ improves stiffness and impact resistance of PVC pipes. Smaller particle sizes work best for larger diameter pipes with 2–3 micron formulations. Grades: VC-30T, VC-40T, VC-50T.
Stearic acid coated GCC increases insulating effect in PVC cable compounds. Improves processability and reduces dielectric constant. Grades: VC-50T, VC-60T.
Most polyolefin fabricators use CaCO₃ via masterbatches at 70–80% loading. VELORA COAT® provides excellent dispersion in polyolefin carrier resin. Grades: VC-20T, VC-30T.
Higher thermal conductivity and lower specific heat of CaCO₃ are key advantages in raffia tape and nonwoven fabric applications, reducing costs significantly. Grades: VC-50T, VC-60T.
